Well we finally made our own butter today it was fun. The kids loved shaking (of course) however I think they enjoyed tasting it more!
We saved the buttermilk and plan to make biscuits with it. It was so much fun watching the different stages as the cream became butter and seeing their little faces light up. This is why I love homeschooling so much!

I remember making butter when I was in kindergarten and we made it in baby food jars. It was so much fun. I still make it every 6 months or so!
